Proud Sponsors of Eastleigh Spitfires U16 girls

At Bluewood we finished 2020 with a new business strategy in place. Moving into 2021, two of the key components of that strategy were to work closely with local charities and help make a difference within our own community; and to put a slightly softer spin on our approach to marketing. It made sense then to bring the two together and by doing so, not only have we been part of some incredible charitable initiatives where we have been able to see for ourselves exactly where our time and donations have been spent, but throughout the process have also gained an increased following of our business and really grown brand exposure, securing some great projects.

One of the charities chose to work with is Eastleigh FC who are celebrating their 75th Birthday this year. Eastleigh FC are a local Club who are players within the National League and who now have a successful grassroots section which is run by volunteers, relying on charitable donations and sponsorships. Eastleigh Spitfires U16 girls sit within this section of the Club and we are delighted to be providing sponsorship for this Team who last Season were promoted to County 1, currently remaining unbeaten in the league and Hampshire Cup Quarter Finals.

Rees Pake, one of the coaches for the Team commented that, “The success of female football is clear to see at Eastleigh with over 150 girls playing for the club in 9 teams. This has grown over the last few years and with the success of the current teams we hope this will help attract more girls to football and the club.”

Raising exposure for women in football is a brilliant cause and one that we are pleased to be involved with. To find out more about the Spitfires and EFC, check out the link.
